Tableside is again delighted to partner with teenage mums programme, Te Waipuna Puawai, to give teenage mums an afternoon away each week. Mums enroll in a 16 week programme where their bubs are looked after in a fantastic childcare facility (located in Ellerslie) while they increase their learning/knowledge on all sorts of topics like parenting and careers.
We are specifically looking for female volunteers to drive a van to/from Glen Innes & Ellerslie. It takes about 1.5 hours of your time on a Wednesday (possibly Thursday).
There are also opportunities for females to look after babies/toddlers in the childcare facility too (from 2 – 4:00pm).

PS. the team at TWP also gratefully receive donations of good used clothes/baby gear for their programme or their op shops.
